Although owner neglict here,no one is worse than dodge for voiding warranties.Ive watched them pull this trick a few times.They sell a guy a new truck off the lot with a lift,tuner,etc and say oh yeah its warrantied as its dealer installed.Guy comes back for warranty only to have service manager throw the paper in their face”ANY MODIFICATIONS AND WARRANTY IS VOID”,then tells the owner”OH WELL THE RETARTED SALESMAN DIDNT KNOW WHAT HES TALKING ABOUT”.

Wow that’s impressive. I went to a really yuppie high school and this is how it was. If you didn’t destroy something nice then you wern’t cool. A guy I knew broke 3 Dana 44′s in his brand new 01′ Ram 1500 jumping it at the dunes. He eventually flipped it so his parents bought him a brand new superduty.
Luckly my dad would of beat my ass if I pulled shit like this. I had to drive a turquoise 91′ Isuzu Amigo, that will build character let me tell you.

The air fillter I have a problem with, the rest of it I could care less about. some people are gonna use their trucks hard like we do, sometimes stuff gets bent, tangled, or just flat ripped off. if you’re gonna try for the title of toughest truck, then they better be able to handle it. that’s why we run chevys. I diesel teched for caterpillar for a few years before going back to the family business,I’ve seen my share of abuse. fix it and move on, it’s just a pickup.

A bent intercooler is not considered “normal wear and tear”, a spare tire rim that has been ran miles with no robber around it is not “normal wear and tear”, an air filter so clogged that is it being pulled in to intake is not “normal wear and tear”, barbed wire wound around the brakes is once again not “normal wear and tear”. Need I go on?

If you ever go to the Farm Machinery Show you’ll see a lot of trucks and tractors break or have problems. I don’t know if it has something to do with how cold it always is there or what but it seems to be harder on the pullers than usual. That pull is invitation only if it’s still the way it was in the late 90s/early 2000s, so that Powerstroke has proved itself enough before that pull to be invited.
It goes through the big tube you see on the floor and then gets vented to the outside. If you’re in the parking lot when diesels are pulling you can see the black smoke come out from the top of the building.
